Studio HTTR is a practice based in the North West of the UK, led by artist and designer Gina Hatter. Working across architectural threadwork, photography, and design for artists, the studio spans both her own practice and work developed in collaboration with artists.

Gina graduated from the Manchester School of Architecture in 2015 with First Class Honours. Her final project, developed entirely through fabric, marked the beginning of her ongoing Urban Fabric series and established an early interest in combining textiles and the built environment. Rooted in this background, the work is shaped by an evolving exploration of structure, surface, and material.

Hatter also works with artists to document and translate their work across print and digital formats, including catalogues, websites, and photographic documentation, with clients including Emma Rodgers and Johnny Vegas.

 

Whether through thread or image, Hatter loves to focus on how work is constructed, held, and experienced - with particular attention to light, detail, and texture.
